How your Focus Score works

Your Focus Score isn't a fixed number — it's computed live from exactly which protections are switched on right now. Turn on more, and it goes up immediately.

Deep Work Mode

Narrows your whole feed to pure productivity — the strongest single protection.

A running timer locks your feed to one goal for a set stretch of time.

Hide Shorts & Reels

Removes the most addictive, algorithm-driven short-form content entirely.

Filters out sensational thumbnails and titles designed to hijack your attention.

Removes the left nav and "up next" recommendations that pull you off-task.

Hides promoted posts and sponsored content from your feed.

Points from every active protection are added together, capped at 100%. Nothing on yet? Your score starts at 0% — head to Quick Filters on your Control Center to turn some on.

What your score means

Excellent70–100%

70% and up. Your feed is locked down: Deep Work Mode or a focus session is doing most of the work.

Healthy40–69%

40–69%. The biggest distractions are gone, and most of what's left is what you chose to see.

Getting started15–39%

15–39%. One or two protections are on. Hiding Shorts and clickbait together is the quickest way up.

Turn on filters0–14%

Under 15%. Almost nothing is filtered yet, so your feed is still the platform's default.

A quick example

Switch on Hide Shorts & Reels (15), Hide Clickbait (12) and Block Sponsored Ads (8) and your score is 35%. Add Deep Work Mode (25) and it jumps to 60%. Start a focus session (20) on top and you reach 80%.

Focus Score vs Algoright Rank
