How to hide Instagram Reels on your computer

Instagram won't let you turn Reels off. Algoright does it with one switch: the Reels tab disappears, Reels in your feed are hidden, and opening a Reels page takes you back to your feed. It's part of Pro.

What happens when Reels are hidden

The Reels button disappears from Instagram's menu and Reels mixed into your feed are hidden. If a Reels page opens, from a link or a notification, Algoright sends you back to your home feed instead.

Posts, Stories from the people you follow and your messages keep working. Only the endless Reels feed goes.

Hide Stories removes the Stories row above your feed.

Following-only mode keeps you on posts from accounts you follow and moves you off Explore.

Category filtering labels posts and hides the topics you've switched off, on your feed and on Explore.

Only on a computer

Algoright works on instagram.com in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. It can't change the Instagram app on your phone, and since most people use Instagram on their phone, it's worth knowing before you subscribe.
