Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Algoright AI, including the browser extension and the web dashboard at algorightai.com ("the Service"). By installing the extension or creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Algoright
You must be at least 13 years old to use Algoright. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at algorightai@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for lawful, personal productivity purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the extension
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or discriminate against others
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service
- Attempt to circumvent any rate limits or access controls
3a. Other sites' terms
Algoright works on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X, which are run by other companies under their own terms of service. The extension only changes how those sites appear in your browser; it does not post, like, follow or message for you. Some of those sites' terms restrict hiding their ads, so the "Block sponsored ads" option is off by default and is your choice to turn on. You remain responsible for following each site's terms. Algoright is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies.
4. Pro and payment
Free accounts are provided at no cost. Pro is a single payment, shown in USD at checkout, with no subscription and no renewals.
When we say Pro is "for life" or "for good", we mean it stays on the account you bought it with for as long as we operate Algoright. If we ever stop operating Algoright, Pro ends with it, and we will email Pro customers before that happens.
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of paying by writing to algorightai@gmail.com. A refund removes Pro from the account. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the law where you live.
If you still have an older monthly or annual subscription, you can cancel it at any time and it stays active until the end of the current billing period.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without any uptime guarantee. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. Because Algoright works on other companies' sites, a feature can stop working or have to be removed when those sites change. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
6. Intellectual property
All content, design, and code within the Service is owned by Algoright AI. You retain full ownership of any data you input. Algoright AI does not claim ownership over your browsing behaviour or personal settings.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Algoright AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Algoright AI is registered. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
Privacy Policy
Our full, current Privacy Policy lives on its own page: algorightai.com/privacy. It covers exactly what the extension classifies on your device, the small subset of titles that are sent for optional AI assistance and to which providers, what is logged, and how to opt out or request deletion.
