Algoright AI vs DF Tube
DF Tube hides parts of YouTube's interface, like the home feed, recommendations and comments. Algoright keeps the interface and filters the videos in it by category. Both cut distraction; they just remove different things.
A fair comparison
Several versions of DF Tube (Distraction Free for YouTube) exist in the stores. What is said here comes from the DF YouTube listing on Firefox Add-ons, checked in September 2026.
What DF Tube does
DF Tube gives you switches for the parts of YouTube that pull you in. Its listing names hiding the home page feed, the recommendations sidebar, the related videos at the end of a video, comments and the subscriptions bar, as well as turning off autoplay and playlists.
It is free and available for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
What Algoright does
Algoright leaves YouTube's layout alone and works on the videos: each one gets a category label, and the categories you switch off are removed from the home page and sidebar. The recommendations you do want stay.
It also hides Shorts, clickbait and sponsored posts with one switch each and hides YouTube's category chip bar. Pro adds hiding comments and the sidebar, Deep Work Mode, and filtering on TikTok, Instagram and X.

Questions
Does Algoright turn off autoplay?
No. If that matters to you, DF Tube does it, and so does YouTube's own autoplay switch.
Can Algoright hide the whole home feed?
Not with one switch. You can switch off most categories so little is left, or use Deep Work Mode (Pro) to limit it to Learning, Work and Finance.
